Shaarli is a minimalist, self-hosted bookmarking service and micro-blog. It was created by Thomas Piart and is open source (AGPL-3.0). It allows saving links with titles, descriptions, tags, and optionally publishing them as short posts.

* First-run setup required: The Shaarli image ships without an initial admin account.

 Onf first visit, it redirects to the installation wizard.

* Complete first-run setup: Create admin account and configure basic settings. * Data backup: The data volume contains all bookmarks and settings.

 A regular backup should be set up.
